Email delivery
We recommend proper SMTP for your site
WordPress sends email via PHP mail by default — this is unreliable, frequently lands in spam and gives you no visibility over delivery. We strongly recommend all WordPress sites use a dedicated SMTP solution for contact form notifications, order confirmations and any other site-generated email.
Full package clients receive SMTP setup as standard, powered by our licensed mail plugin — installed and configured on your site, covered under your support package.
Starter, Monitored and Core clients who wish to manage their own SMTP configuration can do so independently. Private VPS clients can add SMTP setup as an add-on above. We recommend the following providers for reliable, easy-to-configure SMTP:

Setting up and managing your SMTP connection is the client's responsibility. Once you have your provider account and credentials, your chosen SMTP plugin (such as WP Mail SMTP or FluentSMTP) can be configured directly within your WordPress dashboard.
All packages are monthly rolling. No minimum term, no exit penalties. Cancel with 30 days notice. The Private VPS package requires a one-off £25 setup fee and payment by Direct Debit. All shared hosting packages have no setup fees. WordPress Maintenance plans have no setup fees. All prices include VAT where applicable.
